JOYE & MELISSA–THE SOLARIUM DECATUR WEDDING

There are so many wonderful things to say about this amazing couple and their beautiful wedding held at The Solarium in Decatur. I could begin to describe Joye and Melissa’s deep love for one another, or how absolutley lovely and heartfelt their Quaker ceremony was or how their family and friends were simply brimming over with joy and happiness for them on their day. However, I truly don’t think my words can do justice to how special these two people are along with all the people who love them and were their to celebrate with them. So instead we’ll let the images speak for themselves!  I have the most amazing Do It Yourself brides–Joye made her own gorgeous hair piece as well as her flowers! Seriously gorgeous!!I love the First Look! Joye and Melissa seeing each other for the first time before their ceremony!Joye and Melissa thought of everyone wonderful detail–they look amazing!We had a blast shooting down at Candler Park before the wedding (and love the balloons)!

MELISSA & JOHN–PRIMROSE COTTAGE ROSWELL WEDDING

This was my first opportunity to photograph a wedding at the lovely Primrose Cottage in Roswell and I am so thrilled that it was with the absolutely wonderful Melissa and John! They are such an incredibly sweet and laid back couple and I knew after photographing their engagement session this past spring that this was going to be a fantastic wedding! Melissa thought of every gorgeous detail for the day and it all came together impeccably (seriously loved everything from the dress and shoes, to the super cute signs and fresh lemonade for the guests). Their day was truly a reflection of their wonderful relationship and I am so honored to have been there to photograph every minute!

LINDSEY & RAUL–THE SOLARIUM DECATUR WEDDING

What an absolutely beautiful wedding shared by two of the most wonderful and easy-going people you could meet! Lindsey and Raul celebrated their gorgeous day with a morning ceremony held at the lovely Solarium in Decatur. They shared this beautiful and intimate wedding with their closest family and friends in a setting that matched them perfectly. The moment you meet Lindsey and Raul you can feel the depth of their love and commitment to one another. Needless to say, capturing such natural love and affection was simply awesome (and even better since we had time to explore the wonderful Oakhurst/Decatur neighborhood for lots of photos)! I am so honored to have been there to photograph every beautiful moment of their day! Let me tell you how amazing Lindsey is–beyond her natural gorgeousness, she is a super DIY (do-it-yourselfer)! She did her own hair and makeup, made her own flowers and shoes and made all of the decorations! Simply awesome!Oh how I love the First Look!! Just a perfect moment of them seeing each other for the first time before their wedding ceremony!I’m in love with Lindsey’s dress–isn’t it just perfect for a summer wedding?!Seriously–they could not be any cuter together!A special moment with the parents during the ceremony.

ABBIE & KELSEY–KIMBALL HALL ROSWELL WEDDING

Well as you will see, I am totally in love with this wedding–as evidenced by the fact that I posted a zillion photos! But it was just too hard to narrow down all of the gorgeousness that was Abbie and Kelsey’s wedding at the lovely Kimball Hall  in Roswell! I know I am the luckiest photographer to work with such amazingly wonderful and laid back couples who are just totally in love with each other. From the moment I met with Abbie and her family, I just knew what a fantastic wedding day this would be. All of their family and friends (many who came from very long distances), were just so happy to be there to celebrate the day with them. I am so thrilled that I was able to document this wonderful love and emotion on such a perfect day!   Abbie is absolutely stunning!!This was such a beautiful and emotional First Look! I’m so glad Abbie and Kelsey decided to see each other before the ceremony!What a fantastic ceremony filled with such great emotion! Many thanks to my second photographer Brooke Green for her shot of Kelsey on the left!Cannot say enough good things about Kimball Hall and its fabulous owner Julie Stephens! Seriously she is the best and will make your wedding day perfection! Wonderful toast by Abbie’s sister and maid of honor Lindsey!Well you know how much I love the father/daughter dance and this was an especially lovely one with Abbie and her dad! ATLANTA PORTRAIT SESSION

When Providencia contacted me about doing a really fun portrait session with her absolutely adorable four-year-old daughter Zaylah I was so excited! I had previously  photographed Providencia for a feature in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s My Style section and knew that she would be a blast to photograph again! She had the wonderful idea to do some beautiful studio portraits with her daughter (some in a big, beautiful white bed too). The shoot was amazing and every time I look at these photos I feel like I am looking at some gorgeous print ad! Needless to say this is one gorgeous mother and daughter–and seriously–doesn’t this little one look like she is ready to star in a Gap Kids commercial? Much appreciation to this wonderful family for entrusting me with such a fantastic shoot!
