ASHLEY & SCOTT–TURNER FIELD ENGAGEMENT

When Ashley and Scott said that they wanted to do their engagement session inside of the Atlanta Brave’s Turner Field  baseball stadium I was so excited! There is nothing quite like being able to run around an empty baseball stadium shooting pictures and having the whole place pretty much to yourself! Ashley and Scott are simply awesome (as you’ll see from their photos)–they are this incredibly sweet and generous couple who are very easy going and always cracking each other up! We had so much fun exploring the stadium before heading over to Grant Park in downtown Atlanta for a few more photos. I am so thrilled to be photographing their wedding in March of 2013 at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Atlanta and reception at the lovely Biltmore!

LAUREN & CHRIS–TURNER FIELD ENGAGEMENT

I had such a blast photographing Chris and Lauren’s engagement session on a beautiful late afternoon day in February! We were so lucky to have warm, sunny skies and a ton of great shooting locations all around Turner Field and at the old Fulton County Stadium as well as Piedmont Park! These two simply exude love and happiness making my job super easy! I cannot wait to photograph their wedding this fall at The Georgian Club-as I know it is going to be an absolutely beautiful day with these two incredibly lovely people! These two could seriously not be any cuter together–they just have contagious smiles!

KRISTI & JAY–COUNTRY CLUB OF THE SOUTH WEDDING

I am so excited to share the first wedding of 2012 and this is definitely a treat! Kristi and Jay celebrated their wedding at the First Baptist Church of Duluth in what turned out to be a gorgeous day in January! Needless to say we were all so thankful to have mostly sunny skies and temps in the 60’s (which is definitely a bonus for January)–which allowed us to do such beautiful photos outside at both their church and the historic downtown Duluth area. After their wonderful wedding ceremony they celebrated their reception at the County Club of the South with a fantastic feast and great dancing!

The best thing about this wedding of course is Kristi and Jay–two people who are incredibly kind and warm and the type of people who feel like old friends the minute you meet them. I cannot say enough about how much I have enjoyed getting to know them in the past few months and I how honored I am to have been a part of their beautiful celebration!

KELLY & SCOTT–NORTH AUGUSTA WEDDING

What better way to start off the New Year than with a blog post from Kelly and Scott’s beautiful December wedding in North Augusta, South Carolina! Even though technically it is winter, we couldn’t  have been luckier with such a gorgeous and warm day in late December. Kelly and Scott held their evening ceremony at the Grace United Methodist Church and used the lovely Palmetto Terrace  at the North Augusta Municipal Center for their reception. Kelly and Scott and all of their family and friends created such a memorable and beautiful wedding day and I am so thrilled that I was there to capture all of their love and joy!

LUCKY NUMBER 24

I cannot possibly begin to say how deeply grateful and honored I am to have photographed these twenty-four amazing couples this year! 2011 has been such a fantastic year with such wonderful brides and grooms, gorgeous families and newborns and amazing corporate clients. When I look over the faces of all of these amazing couples below I am brought back to such wonderful moments from all of their weddings. Each and every one of these couples displays the kind of heart-felt, loving and easy going natures that make my job truly remarkable. It has been a special gift in my life to be a full-time photographer for the past 9 years and none of it would be possible without the incredible clients that I am lucky enough to work with. So in this holiday season, I just want to thank and honor all of the people I have been fortunate enough to get to know and photograph in this year. I never forget how blessed I am to do a job that I love so much!
