I cannot tell you how much fun I had photographing Alicia and Tyler’s beautiful wedding at the Druid Hills United Methodist Church and reception at The Trolley Barn in Atlanta! Not only are they both super sweet and laid back, they are just perfect to photograph. They are one of those couples who are constantly cracking each other up–which is definitely one of my most favorite emotions to capture! I knew of course after photographing their engagement session back in April that their whole wedding day was going to be a blast. From the moment they arrived at the church, through their First Look, the ceremony and onto their gorgeous reception, they day was nothing but laughter, joy and love. It has truly been such an honor to photograph these two fantastic people! Love the pink!!What can I say but absolutely gorgeous! Many thanks to my second shooter Jennifer Boxley for this great shot of Tyler and for all of her great work!Love that Alicia and Tyler opted to do a First Look and see each other before the ceremony! The emotion and excitement on their faces was pure perfection. My view on the left, Jennifer’s shot on the right.See–told you they are always cracking each other up!Jennifer’s view of Alicia on the left and my shot on the right of a very happy Tyler during the ceremony!Beautiful florals by Freckles Events! Thanks to Jennifer for these beautiful shots at the reception while I was on the trolley with the bridal party!Love this shot of Tyler and his mom during their dance!I adored Alicia’s younger sister Andrea giving her emotional toast to the couple–so sweet!Isn’t this such a fantastic idea to use pom poms for the exit?! Love it!
Even while I was photographing Lindsay and Stephen’s amazing wedding–I was thinking of how I would possibly be able to put into words the story of their day. Everyone who knows these two will already know how generous, kind and loving they are with each other and with everyone they know. And of course looking through the blog post it will become apparent to everyone else just how much these two laugh together! But it really needs to be said that these two are so much fun to be around that their excitement and laughter is contagious! I don’t think there was a moment during the entire reception that myself (and everyone else for that matter) weren’t cracking up. I adored being a part of this wedding and I am so honored to have captured the day of such a truly wonderful couple!
Wedding: First United Methodist Church of Lawrenceville
Reception: 550 Trackside, Lawrenceville I really cannot pick a favorite portrait of the two of them together–but this one is definitely at the top!Absolutely stunning!!Lindsay’s dress was so gorgeous–but of course it was scorching hot outside and all of that tulle under her dress didn’t help! Love how her girls went into action to help her out!Lindsay has the best laugh I have heard–and of course it needs no prompting!!Many thanks to my second shooter Brooke Green for her beautiful shot on the left. Can’t say enough good things about photographing at 550 Trackside–it is a gorgeous venue!Love this moment with Lindsay dancing to a country tune! Some serious cake mess was had!
Amy thank you so much! I had the absolute best time photographing Stephen & Lindsay’s wedding–and getting to meet you and all of their wonderful family members and friends! They are such a wonderful couple–and I totally agree that their happiness is really reflected in the photos!

The post should really have been titled, “The Year of the Baby”! It has been an especially amazing year with the birth of my four nephews and one niece as well as the beautiful babies born to some of my dearest friends! So it is very exciting to show off my brand new and VERY adorable nephew Kolton! I just can’t get enough of this little one–he is as sweet as can be and so very handsome. I am so thrilled for his beautiful mom Amanda, proud dad Kurt and his wonderful sister Madison!I told you–this kid is just perfection!
Alison-can you imagine if we all lived in the same place, we could employ you just on baby shoots! I’m happy to hear you’ll get to meet Gabriel on the 15th at mom/dads. I’ll be at work but he will be there 🙂

I love getting to know and photograph a family over the years! I’ve had the pleasure of photographing Sadie since she was a newborn and so to meet her 1-month-old baby sister Keller last weekend was a real honor! Although Keller was not too interested in sleeping during our photo shoot–I think we got such gorgeous images of her with her mom, dad and Sadie! Can’t wait to watch this little one grow–she is a super cutie!Just tell me that isn’t one of the cutest little faces you have ever seen?!So stinkin’ cute–especially with that pink flower!!Sadie makes the absolute best faces!Simply adore this photo–how much will Keller love this photo with her dad when she is grown!
I just can’t say enough great things about Kristen and Cameron’s beautiful outdoor wedding and reception held at their family home in Gainesville! You really cannot meet two nicer people who also happen to have the most wonderful families and friends! I believe it is this exact reason why their wedding day was so incredibly special. With all of the hard work and effort that goes into planning a wedding, especially one that is done at your own family’s home, I know how meaningful it was to everyone there to share in this day with them! Having already spent an amazing day with them shooting their Blue Ridge Mountain portraits–I knew their wedding day was going to be perfect! I am so honored to have been there to capture every moment with this couple–who I know for sure are destined for many, many great things together! This was such a beautiful moment when Kristen and Cameron opted for their ‘First Look’ before the wedding ceremony!Seriously–you cannot take a bad photo of these two!! What a stunning couple!Love, love this!!Kristen is stunning!!Such a beautiful moment during the ceremony–a very special prayer with their parents and close friends.A beautiful moment with Cameron and his mom during the mother/son dance!
