CAITLYN & NEAL–BRASSTOWN VALLEY RESORT WEDDING

I had been so excited to photograph Caitlyn and Neal’s wedding up in the North Georgia mountains–one because it was my first time shooting at the beautiful Brasstown Valley Resort and most importantly because I already knew what a fantastic and wonderful couple these two are! So of course everything turned out perfectly–an absolutely gorgeous day in the mountains with so much love and joy coming from these two and all of their family and friends! Caitlyn and Neal are so wonderfully easy-going and share the kind of great bond that comes from knowing someone so deeply. I think it was said best during the toasts that evening that Caitlyn was so happy because she gets to spend the rest of her life with her best friend. I am so honored to have been there to capture every amazing moment and expression of love on their wedding day!

CHRISTY & BILL–OLD DECATUR COURTHOUSE WEDDING

Christy and Bill celebrated their beautiful spring wedding on such a gorgeous day at the All Saints Episcopal Church in downtown Atlanta, followed by a fantastic reception at the Old Courthouse on the Square in Decatur! Christy and Bill are this instantly lovable couple–they are both incredibly sweet and laid back and share this great joy and laughter when they are together. I was so happy that they decided to see each other for a First Look before the wedding ceremony–it is always one of my favorite moments that is filled with so much anticipation and excitement! It was a truly wonderful day and I am honored to have been there for every fantastic moment!

Oh how I loved photographing this family in Grant Park in Atlanta! Though I’ve known Abby for a while, this was my first time getting to meet her wonderful husband Logan and her absolutely adorable son Carter! All I can say is that this little boy has the sweetest personality and the most wonderful and boisterous laugh I have seen (as will be obvious below in the photos)! I love photographing children at this age because they are so content to run around and play and thus you can capture them exactly as they are–full of pure fun and energy!

SUZANNA & JOSH–MARIETTA ENGAGEMENT SESSION

I was so excited when Suzanna told me that she and Josh had gotten engaged over the holidays–and even more excited when she asked me to photograph her wedding in May at the McGarity House! Suzanna is a wonderful photographer and I’ve been so fortunate to get to know her in the last couple of years and call her a friend! I couldn’t be more thrilled that she and Josh will be celebrating their beautiful wedding next month in such a gorgeous setting. I had a fantastic time photographing their engagement session around the lake in Canton as well as at my favorite historic downtown Marietta Square. You simply couldn’t meet two nicer people and I can’t wait to capture their beautiful day in less than a month!

CARRIE & MIKE–MONTALUCE WINERY WEDDING

What a spectacularly gorgeous and festive wedding Carrie and Mike shared at the Montaluce Vineyard in Dahlonega! Everything about the day was just perfection–from the beautiful location in the north Georgia mountains, to the stunning floral decor by Blushing Blooms to the incredibly fun reception on the terrace overlooking the vineyard. Most importantly though the day was perfect because Carrie and Mike share such a deep love and friendship with one another that makes you so happy to be around them. They are so clearly loved by their wonderful family and friends and their easy-going attitudes made the day even better! I can’t say enough about what a fantastic time I had photographing their wedding and it was truly an honor to capture such a wonderful couple!

MONA & BRAD–ROSWELL ENGAGEMENT

I was so excited to finally photograph Mona and Brad’s engagement session—and when Mona suggested starting our shoot in front of the super cute Roswell Provisions shop in Historic Downtown Roswell I knew we were going to be in for a great afternoon! We were able to go all over the place including Kimball Hall (where they will have their beautiful wedding in September) and the Old Roswell Mill and Covered Bridge for photos before the approaching thunderstorms began. These two have this incredibly warm and vibrant relationship and I love capturing people who are so clearly in love! They also have one of my favorite ‘how we met’ stories—and let’s just say they were definitely meant to be! I cannot wait to photograph what I know will be a beautiful wedding this fall!

I have been so excited to share the wedding of two people whose love and genuineness for each other and all of their friends and family is simply hard to match! The minute you meet Robyn you can see why everyone, and most importantly Mike, simply love everything about her. These two are so kind and easy-going and it is obvious that they bring out the very best in one another. Their wedding and reception at The DeVore House in Alpharetta was perfection—an absolutely gorgeous day filled with so much happiness and emotion. I couldn’t have been more honored to capture all of the wonderful moments on their wedding day!

NANCY & MARTIN–CHATEAU ELAN WEDDING

A fantastic couple, men in kilts, wonderful friends and families and an Irish wedding on St. Patrick’s Day at Chateau Élan—what more could you ask for?! Nancy and Martin celebrated their beautiful wedding full of great love and laughter surrounded by those who love them dearly. The wedding was held in the gorgeous Atrium of the Inn at Chateau Élan and their reception in the Monte Carlo Ballroom. You can always tell when a couple knows each other so deeply—and it shows by how much these two know how to make each other laugh (as you will see in almost every photo of Nancy!). It was such an honor to photograph this wonderful couple and I am so glad to have captured such a beautiful day!

I have been so excited about photographing Caitlyn and Neal’s upcoming April wedding at the Brasstown Valley Resort in Young Harris, GA—but am looking forward to it even more after the fantastic afternoon we spent together shooting their engagement session at the Marietta Square! As you will see, Caitlyn has the most beautiful smile and it’s always showing since these two are endlessly laughing together! Basically they are the kind of couple I simply love to photograph—super fun and easy-going, not to mention fantastically in love with each other! Can’t wait for their beautiful wedding next month!

ASHLEY & SCOTT–TURNER FIELD ENGAGEMENT

When Ashley and Scott said that they wanted to do their engagement session inside of the Atlanta Brave’s Turner Field baseball stadium I was so excited! There is nothing quite like being able to run around an empty baseball stadium shooting pictures and having the whole place pretty much to yourself! Ashley and Scott are simply awesome (as you’ll see from their photos)–they are this incredibly sweet and generous couple who are very easy going and always cracking each other up! We had so much fun exploring the stadium before heading over to Grant Park in downtown Atlanta for a few more photos. I am so thrilled to be photographing their wedding in March of 2013 at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Atlanta and reception at the lovely Biltmore!
