KRISTI & JAY–PIEDMONT PARK/VA HIGHLANDS ENGAGEMENT

What a fantastic time I had photographing an engagement session with Kristi & Jay at Piedmont Park and Virginia Highlands in Atlanta! I was so excited that they brought along their two dogs–who were just about the most cooperative pups I have seen. Besides of course that being around dogs just naturally makes you so happy! I am so thrilled to be photographing their wedding coming up in January at the First Baptist Duluth and Country Club of the South. These two could not have been more wonderful to photograph which makes me even more excited for their big day!  Absolutely adore this photo!Was great to sneak into Murphy’s in the highlands for a couple of pics where Kristi & Jay had shared their first date!

Kristi thank you so much! You and Jay made my job easy plus Ladis and Birdie were just regular pros that day (besides being super cute dogs to begin with)! I am so excited for your wedding in January–I know it is going to be such a gorgeous day!

We love them and can’t wait to share them with our friends and family!! You are such a joy to work with and can really make a girl who is not comfortable in front of the camera feel completely at ease. January is going to be here before we know it!

VIVIANA & TRAVIS–CHATEAU ELAN WEDDING

I’ve been trying to figure out how to describe Viviana and Travis’ beautiful wedding held at Chateau Elan on a recent gorgeous Saturday in October. The phrase that keeps coming to mind is that I love how these two love each other. You’ll see it in every smile, laugh and embrace that they share together. Every time I look at these images I break out into a huge smile–quite simply because I can see all of the love and warmth emanating from these two and all of the family and friends who shared this amazing day with them. You’d be hard pressed to meet two kinder and more easy-going people and I could not have been more thrilled to photograph this absolutely fantastic day!

Music: AMPD Atlanta Viviana was an absolute stunning bride!I was so very in love with her gorgeous cathedral length veil!! Stunning!Oh how I love the First Look–it is always one of my favorite moments from the day!As soon as I saw these two photos while  editing–I remembered exactly why Viviana was cracking up! Let’s just say it had something to do with a little mishap over the marriage license and a much relived Travis!Isn’t their happiness simply contagious? I believe this laughter during the ceremony involved a small incident with Viviana and a yellow-jacket!I have to just say how amazing Travis’ grandmother was on the dance floor–I think she danced for approximately four hours straight!!

SHELLY & MATT–BIG CANOE WEDDING

First let me start by saying that Shelly is one of the most amazing Do It Yourself brides I have ever met! I was so blown away when I arrived at The Chimneys at Big Canoe on her wedding day to see all of the absolutely amazing details and decor that she had gathered for the wedding. Every piece that Shelly found was a perfect complement to the gorgeous outdoor setting at Big Canoe. From the stunning lanterns and programs to the awesome candy bar and centerpieces, Shelly created the most beautiful day! Beyond all of these fantastic details, the best part of the day was photographing the love and  laughter that Shelly and Matt share with one another. There wasn’t a moment the whole day that these two weren’t cracking each other up! From the moment you meet them, it is totally clear that they are the perfect fit. I am so happy that I was there to capture two incredible people on such a gorgeous day in October!

KATIE & DAVE–CHATEAU ELAN WEDDING

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Katie and Dave and their gorgeous wedding held at Chateau Elan. We lucked out with another incredibly beautiful Fall day–full of blue skies and warm sunshine–the perfect kind of day for an outdoor wedding on the lawn at the winery! Chateau Elan has everything you can hope for in a venue with a great hotel, beautiful views and lovely vineyards. Needless to say I took advantage of all of these great spots to capture this fantastic couple. Seriously, you could not meet a sweeter pair than Katie and Dave–they way they are always laughing with each other and are so warm and genuine just makes for the best kind of shooting. I am so honored to have captured all of the love and happiness on their beautiful wedding day! Katie is simply gorgeous!!Their beautiful ceremony held on the lawn at Chateau Elan.What a great moment with the sleepy ring bearer during the ceremony!Absolutely love this!I love a great first dance!

SAMANTHA & BRYSON–PRIMROSE COTTAGE WEDDING

So excited to be able to share Samantha and Bryson’s beautiful wedding held at the historic Primrose Cottage in Roswell! It was one of those absolutely perfect early Fall days in Georgia–glorious blue skies, no humidity and a perfect temperature in the upper 70’s–made all the better by this fantastic couple. We were able to take advantage of the time we had before the ceremony to get some great shots down at the lovely Roswell Mill and Covered Bridge before heading over to Primrose Cottage for Samantha and Bryson’s First Look. What a perfect moment when they saw each other for the first time! These two are seriously some of the most wonderful and easy-going people that you could meet! I am so thrilled that I was there to capture the wonderful love they share with one another and all of their family and friends! Samantha is just absolutely gorgeous!!I loved shooting down at the Roswell Mill–just look at that gorgeous light on Samantha!Many thanks as always to my second shooter Jennifer Boxley for shooting the guys–and for this great shot of Bryson! The First Look gets me everytime–I just love all of that happiness!Love this first dance!
