CHRISTY & BILL–ATLANTA HISTORY CENTER ENGAGEMENT SESSION

When Christy mentioned wanting to do her engagement session at the Atlanta History Center, I was so excited! I had never shot there before and it is always great to explore new locations in Atlanta. Well needless to say the History Center didn’t disappoint–and of course neither did the wonderful Christy and her fiance Bill! They are just the sweetest most down-to-earth couple and were so fantastic to photograph! I cannot wait for their wedding next year in downtown Atlanta followed by what I know will be a gorgeous reception at the Old Decatur Courthouse! Not only are the grounds of the Atlanta History Center beautiful, but the Swan House, a 1928 mansion built for the famed Inman Family, is just stunning as a backdrop! How gorgeous is Christy?!Love this one–on the back steps of the Swan House!

KRISTEN & CAMERON–BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAINS PORTRAITS

I have been waiting since March to post these amazing photos of the gorgeous Kristen (and her now husband) Cameron! Back in the early Spring, Kristen mentioned wanting to do a bridal session up in the North Georgia area of Dillard. She had found this amazing property tucked away in the mountains known as ‘The Columns’. When I found out that Cameron had decided to come along so that we could do a pre-wedding session of the two of them together I was even more excited! After a long and crazy drive up to the mountains–we arrived at one of the most beautiful places I have seen. Everything about the property was amazing–from the columns, to the view of the mountains to the beautiful home.

The opportunity to photograph Kristen and Cameron without all of the tight time pressures on a wedding day was spectacular! I would definitely recommend a pre-wedding photo session or a day-after session since it offers such wonderful flexibility and opportunities for fantastic locations. I cannot wait to share their wedding (that I photographed recently) very soon here on the blog!

LINDSEY & RICHARD–EMORY CONFERENCE CENTER HOTEL WEDDING

What an amazingly beautiful wedding at the Emory Conference Center Hotel with two of the most wonderful people! Lindsey and Richard, who could just not be any happier together, celebrated their gorgeous wedding recently in the outdoor gardens of the Emory hotel. When I tell you that this couple, who are so obviously crazy in love with one another, are some of the nicest, easy-going and most fun people you could meet, it is the absolute truth! Just look at the shot half way down of the two of them walking back down the aisle after saying ‘I Do’–that is absolute joy on their faces–and by far one of my most favorite moments! What an honor to be there to capture the essence of love and happiness on a wedding day! Alright–Lindsey may not be a model by profession–but she might as well be! She looked absolutely stunning on the wedding day!Amazingly beautiful–one of my favorites! This is the shot I am talking about–I break out into a huge grin every time I see this photo!Basically I love every shot of the two of them together–but I just adore this one in particular!Told you how great they are–not many grooms can breakdance!

Despite the very hot temps, Emily and Ben were nothing but smiles! They opted for a first look and I am so glad that they did–it is always one of the most wonderful moments of the day. Besides being super easy-going and incredibly sweet, these two know how to have a great time and constantly keep each other laughing (see photo below with Ben attempting to cut the cake with a chainsaw!!). BETHANY & TYLER–CARTERSVILLE COUNTRY CLUB WEDDING

What an absolutely gorgeous wedding that Bethany and Tyler recently shared with their family and friends at the lovely Cartersville Country Club! You may remember these two from their amazing vintage golf themed engagement session that we photographed back in the fall. So of course it makes sense that these two fantastic golfers chose to have their wedding ceremony on the first tee at the country club! Bethany and Tyler thought of every amazing detail to style their reception–from score cards for menus to golf tee flags in the flowers–and all of that came together so perfectly thanks to their fantastic coordinator Emilee Turner. Everything about the day came together seamlessly and it was such an honor to be there to capture all of the wonderful moments!Wow–is all I can say about this!! Bethany is stunning!Tyler wore his grandfather’s tuxedo and he looks impeccable in it!Again with that gorgeousness–love it!!Bethany and Tyler practiced for months for a special first dance–and they were amazing!!
