I had such a great time second shooting for my good friend Shannon Jenkins of Offhand Photography for Chris & Elizabeth’s wedding at the lovely Park Tavern in Piedmont Park. I started off the day with Chris and his groomsmen at the W Hotel in Midtown–before we all headed over to the Piedmont Room at Park Tavern so that Chris and Elizabeth could do their ‘First Look’. As you all know, I love having the opportunity for the bride and groom to see each other before the ceremony. It is such a wonderful moment that the couple can share away from everyone else–and of course the emotion as these two saw each other for the first time was just so great to capture.
I loved everything about this wedding. Chris and all his groomsmen are just the nicest guys and Elizabeth is so lovely and easy going –that it truly made for such a perfect day. Of course it didn’t hurt that they had a bluegrass band at their wedding (and yes I am biased since I had one at mine)!
