One of the best things about working as a photographer is seeing your former brides and grooms growing their families! I met Ally and Trent at the Historic Roswell Mill for what turned out to be a beautiful winter afternoon doing photos with their adorable son Miller! This fantastic family will be adding another beautiful baby to their bunch this Spring and I can’t wait to see them again soon for more photos!
It was a gorgeous day up in north Georgia at the beautiful Fort Mountain State Park with Janelle and James for their engagement session! When Janelle contacted me about doing photos with great scenery, we were fortunate that her wedding planner mentioned this area in Chatsworth. I have hiked at many of the state parks but had never been to Fort Mountain–and clearly I had been missing out! There were amazing views from every inch of this park and I am so glad we were able to do the session here! Very excited for Janelle and James’ wedding this fall at The Five Star Lodge and Stables–it is going to be amazing!
What a perfect wedding to end the 2014 season with: Hally and Nick’s gorgeous wedding at Callanwolde! You can’t do much better than a beautiful fall day with a super fun and easy-going couple at one of the prettiest venues in Atlanta! Hally and Nick are a blast to be around which will be obvious from the radiant laughter and smiles on Hally’s face the whole day in these photos! They created a gorgeous day (with the help of Nick’s mom who designed all of the amazing decor) and celebrated in style with all of their family and friends. It was such an honor to capture all of these wonderful moments!
Favorite Moment: “Nick and I had a hard time picking a favorite memory, but we both agree that having a sip of champagne when it was just us immediately after the ceremony was really nice (even if the moment lasted about ten seconds!) Great way to celebrate the beginning of our life together… and also to kick off the reception!”–Hally
One of my all-time favorite wedding dresses!
Thank you to my second shooter Kelley Klein for these great shots of Nick and the groomsmen!
So beautiful! Just love these photos. 🙂
Jenny and Joe are some of the sweetest and most cheerful people I have ever met and it is so easy to see why the have found a perfect match in each other! Jenny is such a warm and loving person and Joe is so kind and easy-going–they are truly a complement of one another. Even when Atlanta was hit by a cold snap on the day of their November 1st wedding at the Kennesaw United Methodist Church and Cedar Plantation reception, you would never have known it by the way these two were willing to spend so much time outside for photos! Their day was so beautiful and truly celebrated what mattered most to Jenny and Joe–their love for one another and their family and friends!
Favorite Moment: “Standing at the alter hand-in-hand with Joe while we listened to my sister sing was a wonderful moment. Everyone had told us to expect the day to be a blur, so that was a beautiful opportunity for us to be still and cherish that moment with each other. A close second would be the precious hours spent hugging and being near our friends and family, many of whom we had not seen in years. It was such a wonderful day.” –Jenny
Thanks to my second shooter Kelley Klein for these great shots of Joe and the groomsmen!
I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day with a more wonderful, sweet and easy-going couple than Lauren and Tim on their wedding day at Kimball Hall! It was a day filled with so much laughter, happiness and excitement and you could feel all of those emotions when Tim saw Lauren coming down the aisle! It was such a perfect day and I am so honored to have captured every moment of it!
Favorite Moment: “My favorite moment was when Tim said his vows. I’ve never seen him become so emotional. It made what was an already significant moment even more special and memorable. I didn’t expected him to cry and it’s something I’ll never forget.”–Lauren
