Lindsay and Nathan laughed the whole way through their photos at Emory University–making for a very fun afternoon! I know they are going to have an absolutely beautiful wedding this fall at the Trolley Barn!

MELISSA & JOE–VININGS CLUB WEDDING

I love it when I get to photograph the wedding of two people who are so clearly destined to be together! Melissa and Joe are exactly that couple–so kind and caring and deeply in love with one another. They planned the most lovely wedding at The Vinings Club and it was such an honor for me to capture all of the beautiful moments they shared with each other, their family and friends!

First Look: “I was so proud of Joe. That was the first time I have seen him in that uniform with all of his medals. He has always worn his service dress when we have attended special Navy functions, but this was the first time (in 22 years of service) that he has worn the dinner dress uniform. We were both on the verge of tears.”

Favorite Memory: “The funniest memory that I have of that day is when my sister-in-law, Jen, thought that she ripped my dress when all the bridesmaids were helping me get dressed. I was laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes.  Joe’s favorite memory was at the end of the ceremony and it was just he and I standing in the lobby looking back on all of the guests that had attended our big day. It was just a moment that he and I could share just the two of us.”

MILLER–6 MONTHS!

There is nothing more fun as a photographer than being able to photograph your former brides and grooms with their children! So it was an absolute joy getting to meet Ally & Trent’s very handsome 6-month-old son Miller! He was as sweet and easy going as his parents and I am so glad we spent the afternoon together at the Historic Roswell Mill!

DEENA & MOLLY–CATOR WOOLFORD GARDENS WEDDING

You couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful Fall day with two more wonderful people to celebrate a gorgeous wedding! Molly and Deena celebrated their vows in front of the dearest friends and family at the lovely Cator Woolford Gardens in Decatur. It was a perfect day and I am so glad to have captured all of these beautiful moments!

Molly’s Favorite Moments: “One of my favorite memories was the wedding ceremony. Really, the whole thing, but I don’t remember anything from the processional except the look on Deena’s beautiful face. I didn’t look at anyone else!”

Deena’s Favorite Moments: “My favorite moment was seeing her happy happy face during the cocktail reception with the young people that she loves so much and have meant so much to her over the last 6 years.  My most funny memory is our first dance!  We made it through, and I didn’t trip over my dress!”

Deena, First Look: “I remember hearing her footsteps coming quickly and asking “Is she running?!  Is she running?!”  To which someone finally said yes.  When I turned and saw her huge beautiful smile and then saw how happy she was to see me, it was the most perfect feeling of wow, she is as happy as I am.  It really was the perfect moment, and I am so thankful we did it that way so we got to hold on to each other and take it all in together for several minutes.”

Molly, First Look: “I had a lot of anticipation and excitement to see her. And, yes, I did run down the stairs to get to her as fast as possible! I could have never imagined how she would look or what her dress or hair would look like, but it was truly breathtaking. And it was awesome to be together again.”
