KATHERINE & DANNY–ATLANTA NATIONAL GOLF WEDDING

What an absolutely gorgeous day for a wedding with two amazing people! Katherine and Danny celebrated their beautiful wedding surrounded by all of their fantastic family and friends. You couldn’t ask for two kinder and more easy-going people to spend the day with and it was an honor to photograph every great moment!

Walking Down the Aisle: “Before the wedding I was nervous about walking down the aisle because I don’t like being the center of attention, but at the actual ceremony, I was so excited to see Danny at the altar.  I didn’t notice all of the people in the church and was glad to be escorted with full support from my Dad to join my best friend in marriage.”

Favorite Moment: “Our favorite memory was how the dance floor flooded right after the cake was cut!  Everybody was ready for a party!”

Great shots of Danny and his groomsmen from my second shooter Kelley Klein!Danny’s grandmother was on the dance floor the entire night (along with his grandpa too) and she was amazing!!!

JACKIE & NEAL–OLD DECATUR COURTHOUSE WEDDING

I loved every moment of this gorgeous wedding! Jackie and Neal are an incredibly fun couple who are so easy-going and such loving people! They celebrated their wedding on a beautiful Fall day at the Old Decatur Courthouse. It was just one of the those perfect days where everything comes together–a wonderful First Look, a great amount of time for photos and everyone simply having a blast!  What an honor to capture it all!

The First Look: “I was incredibly nervous when I went for the first look!  It’s ridiculous since I’ve known Neal for so long but there was just something different about that moment.  I’m so happy that we did it though because as soon as I saw him I suddenly felt relaxed for the first time in two days.  It was an incredible exhale and all the little things I had been concerned with no longer mattered.”

Favorite Moments: “When we walked into the reception during the cocktail hour and saw the room set up for the first time it took my breath away!  It was great to see everything put together finally…all the planning and ideas had come to life and it looked fantastic (if I do say so myself!). I loved that my parents and sister were able to let loose and enjoy the dancing and caricature artists. And when my dad told me to dip him at the end of the father-daughter dance: just the best!!  It really is a good representation of our relationship.  Enjoying the moment and not taking it too seriously!

Thanks to my second shooter Kelley Klein for this great shot of Neal and his groomsmen!

ELLY & PAVAN–EMORY CONFERENCE CENTER WEDDING–PART 1

Elly and Pavan had TWO absolutely amazing and gorgeous ceremonies in one day! The beautiful Hindu ceremony took place at the Emory Conference Center Hotel starting with an amazing Baraat. Pavan (who told me later he’d never even been on a horse) was a natural riding in towards the ceremony–dancing with his family and friends! Meanwhile Elly was being dressed in a beautiful saree and getting decked out in fantastic jewels and flowers. The ceremony was so colorful and watching them during the Talambraalu–where they were showering each other in rice–was fantastic! Since both portions of the day were so exquisite–I’ll save their images from their evening wedding at the Cannon Chapel for another post next week!

Elly’s Favorite Moment: ” I think either getting to sneak out on the balcony and watch some of the Baraat, or the end of the ceremony where everyone came up and showered us with rice (so much rice!).”

Thanks to my second shooter Jennifer Boxley for these three great shots of Pavan and his groomsmen!Great dancing shot from Jennifer! The first part of the day ends with Elly back in the hotel room starting all over again for her next ceremony!
