LAWYERS GALORE!

I spent last week filling it at my favorite legal newspaper The Daily Report. I photographed an attorney who was installing solar panels on the roof of his law office, as well as a group of attorneys who brokered a deal between Falcon’s owner Arthur Blank and investors. Its always fun to be back at my old stomping grounds!

EMILY GIFFIN

Recently I got the chance to photograph New York Times bestselling author Emily Giffin( http://www.emilygiffin.com/ ) for an installment of MyStyle. Emily has an amazingly beautiful home in Atlanta which we used as the backdrop for her photos. Emily was lovely to work with and had a wonderful collection of great outfits and accessories!

Alison,

These are some of the most stunning pictures taken of Emily Giffin I have ever seen. In addition to her talent and sweet personality, she is a gorgeous woman and, I would sense, a complex one. You have captured those qualities. Nice work.

The Liz and Barry pics are, of course, great. But I think the one of Liz looking out the white door is STUNNING!

MARLEE & STEVE–WHITLOCK INN WEDDING

Last weekend I got to help my friend and fellow photographer Zach Porter shoot the lovely wedding of Steve and Marlee. Though the pair live in Alabama now, Marlee grew up in Marietta and wanted to return to have her wedding. The couple got married at the Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church and had their reception at the beautiful Whitlock Inn. I spent the beginning of the day hanging out with the guys, while Zach photographed the bride and her bridesmaids. Of course the guys take about five seconds to get ready so luckily they had a foosball and pool table in their room. I love second shooting because it’s a great chance to slow down and have fun with the creative shots and details of the day. Marlee and Steve were both really laid back and so obviously in love with one another–it made for a really wonderful day!

THE RETURN OF THE PETTICOAT

A little while back I had a great shoot with Nicole, who is a recent Emory University grad. I met Nicole at the Halo Lounge in midtown to do her photoshoot for the MyStyle section. Her very fun and eclectic style includes a love of the petticoat and funky vintage clothing. It made for a really fantastic afternoon of shooting.
