Having worked as a professional photographer for the past 12 years, I have been incredibly fortunate to capture amazing images both on assignment and on personal projects throughout the U.S. and many other countries. Photographing weddings has become a true joy of mine as it allows me to tell the story of one of life’s best days: the love, excitement, energy, emotion and pure happiness of a couple on their wedding day!

I studied journalism with an emphasis in photojournalism at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. After graduation I worked for a variety of organizations and publications including a commercial photography studio in Atlanta, as the staff photographer for the Fulton County Daily Report, a freelancer for the Australian Associated Press and continuing freelance work for various publications.

When not shooting a wedding or working on other photo assignments, you will definitely find me out hiking or camping or generally finding any excuse to be outside! I love taking fun classes and have done everything from Vietnamese and Spanish courses to pottery, horseback riding, knitting, ballet, belly dancing, yoga, oil painting…and the list goes on!

EI & HERSHEL–VENUE 92 WEDDING

This may be my longest wedding post ever–but it is 100% deserved! Ei and Hershel celebrated with two gorgeous weddings and had three outfit changes on their amazing day at Venue 92 in Woodstock in May! Every detail of this day was fantastic–the glorious colors, the beautiful Indian and Burmese ceremonies and of course Ei and Hershel–two of the kindest and most lovely people ever! It was an extraordinary day to photograph and I am so honored to have been there (along with my two fantastic second shooters Kelley Klein and Jennifer Boxley)!

Favorite Moment: “One of our favorite moments from the wedding was probably at the end of the night, knowing that we were husband and wife and being surrounded by our closest friends and family running through a pathway of sparklers! I think it was finally getting that alone time with each other as we drove away and began a new chapter of our lives.”–as told by Ei
